CASCO of small vessels

The “Minimum Coverage” clause covers total loss of an insured vessel as a result of:

• Risks associated with sailing conditions in navigable waters - capsizing, grounding, water entry, sinking
• Natural disaster – storm, direct lightning strike, volcanic eruption, earthquake
• Fire, explosion on board or off board
• Collision with a floating, moving or stationary object
• Accidents during loading, unloading or moving supplies, accessories, equipment
• Disappearance of a small vessel

The “Extended Coverage”

Clause covers total loss or partial damage to the hull, machinery, rigging and equipment of the vessel resulting from the risks specified in the “Minimum Coverage” Clause, and in addition:

• Theft or robbery

• Malicious acts (vandalism)
