We meet Stanislava to tell us about the feeling of winning the first place in the contest „Talent of the year “ and be honoured among the students all over Bulgaria in the category „Economy, business and banking“?

I like looking for challenges in order to develop my capacity and knowledge, and that is the reason I applied for the contest. The prize with which I was honoured makes me happy that I was able to overcome the competition from all over Bulgaria, confident that this is the right direction and motivated to continue looking for new peaks to conquer. Besides, I have always imagined my future being here in Bulgaria and such initiatives prove that there are opportunities for development here, too, and there are many young people, who, just like me, want to stay here and fight for that development.

How do you manage to combine your studies with your work in the team of UNIQA Bulgaria?

When I applied for probation, I didn’t expect that in 6 months that would become my permanent occupation. I accepted to stay because I learn many things and gain practical experience that also helps me in my studies. Sometimes it seems to me that time is short for all my assignments, but just then I am most motivated, I organise my time and everything turns out right. And, ultimately, I also have an understanding manager and responsive colleagues that are always ready to give me a hand (even for my projects in the university).

Why do you think that UNIQA is the best start in careers for young people like you?

When I applied, I had no practical experience, but nevertheless, my qualities and desire for development were highly assessed. After that, I was welcomed with a smile and trained patiently, although I made mistakes. UNIQA also takes part in career forums and participates in various guest-lectures. Some companies search for experience and achievements (how can one achieve something, before one starts work), and UNIQA assesses your endeavour to improve, your attitude to the work and the team.

What is UNIQA team for you?

At the workplace, UNIQA team includes great professional, always eager to help, and outside it – smiling people and friends, with whom time flies.

Stanislava Vesselinova is Financial analyst in UNIQA Bulgaria. She is in her last course in Sofia University „Sv. Kliment Ohridski “, speciality Economics and Finances. The programme from which she graduates is French and she is already a holder of Diploma Licence on economics and management from Lille University. For 15 years has been taking interest in dancing with (acrobatic rock and roll, modern dances, folk dances) and takes part in contests in the country and abroad. She likes sharing her knowledge, and in her free time she teaches mathematics to applicants for mathematical schools and is a coach in modern dances
