Senior Associate for Finance Performance (m/f/d)

A day in a life of a Senior Associate for Finance Performance in UNIQA Bulgaria

You will be:

• Actively participating the process for the timely preparation of various managerial and regular reports for management boards and different external information users
• Working on the preparation and execution of budgets and forecasts
• Providing support and liaising with the Board of Directors/Senior Leaders/ Leaders and all relevant departments in the analysis of the necessary performance/financial information with regular and ad hoc analyses
• Performing analysis of reporting results and proposes reporting process improvements
• Proposing new opportunities for further improvement of the current systems of internal control and reporting and giving recommendations for their optimization
• Monitoring and analysing the insurance market, macroeconomic indicators, and the financial results of UNIQA’s competitors
• Leading/participating in various projects on an ad hoc basis related to digitalization, process improvement and etc.
• Performing other tasks on the request of the immediate superior

You have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling or Economics. Master's degree is an advantage.
• Minimum 2 years on same or similar positions
• Performance/Financial Analysis
• Business Planning
• KPI’s Reporting
• Controlling
• Project Management
• Analytical Skills
• Fluent English
• Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards, regulatory framework for insurance activity is an advantage
• Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Power Point)
• Technical skills (SAP and Power BI considered as advantage)
