In a joint charity action, the group of countries that make up the UNIQA SEE region, which consists of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro and Bulgaria, together donated 16,000 euros to SOS Children's Villages and other organizations that care for children who grow up without care and the support they need, in each of the countries.
With this socially responsible campaign, UNIQA Insurance continues the tradition of investing in the community, providing support to the youngest who need help while pointing out the importance of empathy and compassion towards our little fellow citizens who spend their childhood without parental attention. Relying on the "UNIQA 3.0 - Seeding the Future" strategy, in which care for the community is among the leading business principles, UNIQA strives to positively influence its surroundings with its activities and improve the environment in which it operates.
In order to make happy the children who, unfortunately, cannot spend the holidays within their families, and at least brighten up the magical time of the year ahead, this initiative was joined by the employees of UNIQA insurance in the spirit of Santa Claus, giving children all over the region packages of books, toys and sweets.
Representatives of UNIQA Insurance in Bulgaria handed over a check worth BGN 5000, as well as packages prepared by the employees, to children from SOS Children's Villages Bulgaria. With these packets, we will make children - users of Children's Villages happy, while the funds will be invested in improving the conditions in which they live.
In accordance with the values that the company cherishes, UNIQA Insurance employees believe in solidarity with the most sensitive social groups, which they show through their actions, and they approach responsibly when creating charitable initiatives in the desire to make our environment a better and more humane place to live. Caring for the community is one of the guiding principles of UNIQA Insurance and the company will continue to initiate various socially responsible activities aimed at improving living conditions in the communities in which it operates.
